About this site

I’ve been asked a few times about the tech behind this site which is a custom theme running on WordPress.

I developed the ‘noponies’ theme as an illustration portfolio so its not such a traditionally ‘wordpressy’ theme. I like treating WordPress as more of a CMS rather than as a blogging platform.

The theme will soon be available as paid for standalone wordpress theme from The Reformations website.

Some of the features included are:

  • Ability to split text layout across columns
  • Mobile device support, touch based gallery
  • Choose if featured images display inline
  • Ajax post loading
  • Hash URLS
  • HTML5
  • Drop down menu support
  • Webfonts support

Rich set of theme options:

  • Set site logo
  • Show / hide homepage modules and configure each
